I am a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) working in Pembrokeshire. I have 30 years of experience working with adults covering a wide variety of disorders.  These include acquired brain injury following stroke or head injury and other neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease, Dementia. I also offer advice and therapy for voice disorders, transgender clients, head and neck cancers and stammering.

I assess and treat both communication and swallowing difficulties (dysphagia) that may arise from these conditions. I can provide one- off assessments or ongoing therapy, face to face or via Skype.

My aim with each client is to provide a personal and effective service based on sound, researched and effective practices.

As a Independent SLT I aim to offer an appointment within 2 weeks of an initial enquiry. I am able to offer intensive treatments that are often not provided by the local NHS service. For example, the Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) that is recommended by the National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) to improve the intelligibility of the speech of people with Parkinson's Disease.

I am a Registered Provider with Bupa, AXA/PPP and Aviva Healthcare. I hold an Advanced DBS Certificate (formerly known as CRB).
